Plugin Installation

Step 1: Notification for Recommended/Required Plugins #
  1. Activate the Theme: After activating your theme that includes TGMPA, you will see a notification at the top of your WordPress Dashboard indicating that the theme recommends or requires certain plugins.
Step 2: Begin Installing Plugins #
  1. Click on the Notification: The notification will typically say something like “This theme requires the following plugins: Plugin 1, Plugin 2, etc.” There will be a link such as “Begin installing plugins” or “Begin activating plugins.”
  2. Click the “Begin installing plugins” Link: This will take you to the TGMPA interface where you can see a list of all the recommended or required plugins.

Step 3: Install the Plugins #
  1. Select the Plugins: You can install the plugins one by one or use the bulk actions feature to install multiple plugins at once. To bulk install:

    • Check the box next to each plugin you want to install.
    • Select Install from the Bulk Actions dropdown menu.
    • Click the Apply button.
  2. Install the Plugins Individually: To install plugins individually:

    • Click on the Install link under each plugin name.

Step 4: Activate the Plugins #
  1. Bulk Activate Plugins: After the plugins are installed, you can bulk activate them:

    • Check the box next to each plugin you want to activate.
    • Select Activate from the Bulk Actions dropdown menu.
    • Click the Apply button.
  2. Activate Plugins Individually: To activate plugins individually:

    • Click on the Activate link under each plugin name.
